Oven-Roasted Chicken Thighs

Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—these oven-baked chicken thighs are packed with flavor thanks to a rich, aromatic marinade. Infused with garlic, herbs, and warm spices, then coated in a crunchy breadcrumb crust, this dish is the perfect combination of tenderness and crispiness. Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Oregano
  • Rosemary
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ginger
  • Paprika
  • Turmeric
  • Smoked spices (optional)
  • Olive oil

For frying:

  • 1 egg
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
Preparation method:

In a large mixing bowl, add salt, all the spices, garlic powder, oregano, rosemary, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix everything well until you get a smooth, well-blended marinade.

Take the chicken thighs and gently poke them with a toothpick to allow the marinade to penetrate better. Place them in the bowl and coat them thoroughly, rubbing the marinade all over the chicken. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour to absorb all the flavors.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Remove the chicken thighs from the refrigerator, then coat them one by one in flour, dip them into the beaten egg, and finally cover them with breadcrumbs for a crispy coating. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, making sure to leave some space between each piece.

Bake until the chicken is golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even cooking. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
