Spicy Honey Whipped Chicken Tenders

 Crispy, flavorful, and irresistibly golden, these chicken tenders paired with a whipped spicy honey sauce are the perfect treat. With tender meat coated in a crunchy crust and a sweet, fiery dip, this recipe is sure to become a favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 125g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Smoked paprika
  • Oregano
  • Chili powder
  • 1 egg
  • Water (approximately 20ml, or as needed)
  • Cooking oil for frying

Spicy Whipped Honey Sauce:

  • 100g (1/3 cup) honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Smoked paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Chili flakes

Preparation Method:

For the Chicken Tenders:

Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips to create tenders. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, oregano, and chili powder. Add the beaten egg and water, then stir until you achieve a smooth, slightly thick batter.

Dip the chicken tenders into this mixture, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to infuse.

In a shallow dish, combine some flour with a pinch of salt and a dash of smoked paprika. Once the tenders are out of the refrigerator, dredge them in this dry mixture to add an extra crispy layer.

Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer. Once the oil is hot, carefully fry the tenders until they are golden brown and crispy. Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil before serving.

For the Whipped Spicy Honey Sauce:

In a bowl, mix the honey with a pinch of salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Whisk vigorously until the sauce becomes slightly thick and smooth.

Serve the crispy chicken tenders with the whipped spicy honey sauce for a deliciously flavorful experience!
