Nothing beats the charm of homemade Spritz Cookies! These delicate, buttery treats are crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Perfect for any occasion, they’re as fun to make as they are to eat. With a touch of vanilla and a dip in rich dark chocolate, these cookies are a delightful combination of tradition and indulgence.
Ingredients:
- 170g softened butter
- 70g powdered sugar
- 1 egg white
- 200g flour
- Vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 150g melted dark chocolate
Gradually sift in the flour and add a pinch of salt. Mix at low speed until the dough becomes smooth and pliable. The dough should be firm enough to hold its shape when piped.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle and pipe the dough directly onto the tray, forming various shapes such as circles or lines, leaving some space between each cookie.
Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let them cool for a few minutes on the tray before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, dip half of each cookie into the melted dark chocolate. Place them on parchment paper and let the chocolate set before serving or storing.
