Ingredients:
Cake:
- 6 eggs
- 125g sugar
- 150ml oil
- 150ml water
- 200g dark chocolate
- 250g flour
- 24g baking powder
- 1 tsp instant coffee powder
Cappuccino:
- 2 tsp instant coffee
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp water
Cream:
- 100g cream cheese
- 200g heavy cream
- 4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
To prepare the cake, start by placing the sugar, water, oil, chocolate, and instant coffee powder in a saucepan. Heat everything over low heat, stirring until the mixture is completely melted and smooth. In a large bowl, beat the 6 eggs well, then gradually add the melted mixture while continuing to whisk. Make sure everything is well combined, then add the baking powder and flour. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
Take a 25 cm long cake pan with a central rod to form a hole in the middle of the cake (refer to the image below). Grease the pan, pour in the batter, and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the cappuccino. In a small bowl, mix the 2 teaspoons of instant coffee, sugar, and water. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer until a light and frothy cappuccino mousse forms.
For the cream, in a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk. Then add the prepared cappuccino mousse and beat everything well until smooth. Place the cream in the refrigerator to chill.
Once the cake is baked and slightly cooled, remove the central rod that created the hole. Carefully unmold the cake, then fill the hole with the prepared cream. Finally, decorate the top of the cake with the remaining cream and dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy this delicious treat! Bon appétit!
