Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Discover my creamy version of Chicken Alfredo Pizza, a dish that combines the richness of a velvety white sauce with tender, flavorful chicken. With a golden, crispy crust, each bite is an explosion of comforting flavors. This recipe is perfect for a gathering with friends or a family dinner, and it’s simple enough to whip up in no time. Let me show you how to create this delicious pizza with my personal touch!

Ingredients:


For the Dough:

  • 300g flour
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Warm water (as needed)

For the Toppings:

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 180g mushrooms, sliced
  • 200g chicken breast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • White sauce (see below)
  • Cheese

For the White Sauce:

  • 300ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg

For the Chicken Marinade:

  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ground ginger
  • Garlic powder

Method of Preparation:

  1. Preparing the Dough:

    In a large bowl, mix the flour, baker's yeast, oregano, salt, and sugar. Gradually add warm water while mixing until you achieve a homogeneous dough. Once the mixture is well combined, brush the dough with olive oil, cover the bowl with a clean towel, and let it rest in a warm place for just 30 minutes until it slightly rises.

  2. Preparing the Chicken Marinade:

    In a bowl, combine the mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, ground ginger, and garlic powder. Cut the chicken breast into pieces and coat them with this marinade. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Preparing the White Sauce:

    In a blender, combine the milk, flour, oil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Blend until you achieve a smooth mixture. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.

  4. Cooking the Vegetables:

    In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until they become slightly golden. Remove them from the pan and, in the same pan, sauté the mushrooms with a pinch of salt and pepper until tender.

  5. Cooking the Chicken:
    In another pan, cook the marinated chicken pieces over medium heat until they are well cooked and golden on all sides. Remove from heat and set aside.

  6. Assembling the Pizza:

    Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F). On the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, stretch the dough directly with your hands, using olive oil to spread it out. This step is important for the flavor. Use a fork to poke small holes in the dough to prevent it from puffing up while baking. Spread an even layer of white sauce over the dough, then add a first layer of cheese. Next, distribute the onions, mushrooms, and cooked chicken pieces on top. Add a second layer of cheese.

  7. Baking:

    Bake the pizza for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy. Once baked, remove it from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
