Easy and Healthy Energy Balls

Transform your snack time with these easy and healthy energy balls, perfect for a quick boost of natural sweetness and crunch!


Ingredients:

  • 150 g almonds
  • 250 g dates
  • 40 g sesame seeds
  • 40 g dark chocolate


Preparation Method:

Start by preparing the almonds. Preheat your oven and roast them until they are nicely golden. If you prefer, you can blanch them to remove the skin and then lightly fry them. Next, pit the dates and lightly toast the sesame seeds in a pan until they take on a beautiful golden color.

Using a food processor, grind the almonds until you achieve a fine texture, then transfer them to a mixing bowl. Next, blend the dates until they form a thick, smooth paste. Combine this paste with the ground almonds to create a mixture that you can shape into small balls. Once the balls are formed, roll them in the toasted sesame seeds to coat them evenly.

Finally, use a small spoon to gently create a hole in the center of each ball, without piercing through the bottom. Melt the dark chocolate and pour it into the indentations. Allow the energy balls to sit until the chocolate hardens, then enjoy your delicious energy balls!
