Ingredients:
For the cake:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 3 eggs
- 8g of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
For the decoration:
- 2 1/2 cups of milk
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 1 tablespoon of orange blossom water
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
Preparation Method:
First, preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a mixing bowl, crack the 3 eggs and add the orange juice, sugar, 4 tablespoons of oil, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and flour. Beat all the ingredients vigorously using an electric or manual whisk. Pour the mixture into a well-greased cake mold and bake for about 30 minutes.
Once your orange cake is ready, you can move on to the decoration. In a saucepan, combine the milk, flour, sugar, and orange blossom water. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly with a spoon until the cream thickens. Decorate your cake with the cream as desired.
